UV Graphics’ has announced its participation at PrintPack India 2025 and the forefront of its innovations will be the Ultraflex UFO AI, a flexo press designed with the latest technological advancements. D’riven by an AI-powered interface, the new UFO AI offers ease of use, significantly improving operational efficiency while reducing the reliance on operator skill.

This AI-driven interface allows printers to streamline processes and reduce errors, making it an ideal solution for today’s fast-paced, high-demand market.

According to the company, the key feature of the UFO AI is its 100% inspection linked to an instant register system, which positions it as a serious contender against emerging digital equipment, especially in the short-run label and flexible packaging segments.

The machine incorporates dual servo technology, a technology that UV Graphics has perfected over the last seven years with over 160 successful installations of dual servo presses worldwide. The UFO AI offers reliability, precision, and speed, ensuring that converters can consistently produce the highest quality print.

With capabilities to print on a wide range of substrates, including BOPP, IML, PVC, Board, PS, and unsupported labels, the UFO AI delivers a speed of 200 mpm and can handle materials ranging from 8 to 450 microns. The press is designed with an impression cylinder, which is the largest diameter impression cylinder in the industry enabling CI-type results at a fraction of the cost of a traditional CI press.

UV Graphic and Kurz

UV Graphic and Kurz Germany have joined hands to introduce the Distorun for the very first time in the Indian market. The Distorun is a microprocessor and servo-based foil saver for cold foil stamping with capabilities of registered holographic transfer. UV Graphic and Kurz will perform live demonstrations of registered cold foiling for the first time in the Indian market.

The UFO AI integrates UVG’s proprietary Vari-Gap, an adjustable die-cutting anvil cylinder with AI assistance, simplifying die setup and allowing for the fastest production cycles in the market.

In addition to its standard features—such as turn bar, de-lam re-lam, and registered cold foil—the UFO AI offers multiple printing options including rotary or flat screen printing, gravure, intaglio, hot/cold foil, flatbed die cutting, and digital embellishments, enhancing its versatility and making it suitable for a wide range of applications across both label and flexible packaging sectors. Yet again with the smallest footprint in the industry.

The UFO AI is available in web widths ranging from 370 mm to 1050 mm with a repeat of 7–inches to 42–inches making it suitable for both small, medium, and long-run jobs, allowing converters to optimize their production across multiple verticals.

The most affordable servo press EFO 370

In addition to the UFO AI, UVG is launching the EFO 370 press. Targeted at the growing entry-level converter market, the EFO 370 brings servo technology to the masses at an introductory price of just Rs 99 lakh onwards. Designed for versatility, the EFO 370 is ideal for printing on shrink films and other common substrates, making it a perfect choice for converters looking for a high-quality, affordable servo press to meet the demands of India’s dynamic label industry.

Visitors to UV Graphics’ stand in hall 5 C14 & C24 at Print Pack will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the Ultraflex USR Slitter,—a machine capable of digital numbering and advanced 100% inspection systems, CoreMaxx automatic core cutting machines, Pony flat bed screen printing with digital foiling with Foil Saver, Ultraflex VPM, the fastest plate mounting systems in the industry and digital finishing equipment further showcasing UVG’s commitment to innovation in the printing industry.
