DGM India has closed deals for 12 machines in the first three days of the 15th Printpack India show. The company sold a number of folder gluers and die-cutters and one hot foil stamping machine to customers from across the length and breadth of India.
Sun Industries from Baddi bought four DGM machines, one Technocut 1050S die cutter with stripping and another Technocut 1050 without stripping. Sun also purchased a Smartfold 1100SL which can process 4 and 6-corner cartons. It has bought another Smartfold 800PC which can process only straight-line and lock-bottom cartons.

Noida-based Lynx Designers bought a hot foil stamping machine and a Smartfold 1100SL. Shree Devi Packaging from Agra purchased a Technocut 1050 die-cutter without stripping and a Technofold 1100PC folder gluer.
“Lynx have been using our die-cutter for the last eight months and were extremely happy with our machine. That is why they have now ordered two more DGM equipment,” said Puneet Agarwal, director of DGM India.

Zaware Creative from Pune bought a Technocut 1050 die-cutter without stripping and a Smartfold 1100SL folder gluer. “Zaware were commercial printers who diversified into packaging in 2016 and are now going for automation,” Agarwal said.
Winpack Ventures from Chennai bought a Technofold 1100AC while Santoshi Enterprises from Noida has also bought a Technofold 1100C. “Many converters from tier 2 and tier 3 cities have bought our machines and this shows that more players in the carton segment in India now want to provide quality cartons to their brand owner customers. We expect to close more deals by the end of the Printpack show,” Agarwal said.
