K 2022
AMOTEK RE87

The Optima subsidiary Amotek, based in Bologna, Italy, is presenting the new RE87 bag forming and filling machine at K 2022, the world’s most important trade show for the plastics and rubber industry being held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 19 to 26 October.

Amotek is present at booth no. 3A89.

The RE87 boasts simple operation using the plug-and-play principle, high format flexibility, and material-saving features.

“We are very excited to welcome our customers live in Düsseldorf and show them the latest innovations, as well as meet potential customers to discuss new packaging opportunities,” said Walter Hofmann, Amotek’s managing director.

For more than 40 years, Amotek has offered multi-purpose machines for various products and industries. These include the paper hygiene and consumer goods sectors in particular.

Today, energy and material savings for sustainable packaging are more important than ever. In response to this, Amotek is offering its customers the Amotek RE87, a bag forming and filling machine that enables savings in materials by providing particularly tight packaging.

The Amotek RE87

Amotek is now offering the RE87, a newly developed automatic bag forming and filling machine, which will be shown and presented live with all its features at the K trade show in Germany.

The worldwide trend toward sustainable packaging was taken into account this time around by using recycled plastic films in addition to the standard PE and PP films. Further successful tests were carried out with Mater-Bi film rolls made of compostable material.

Special trade show version

For the K trade show, Amotek has created a special RE87 version for garage bag rolls for single or multiple packaging, with the aim of achieving the best price/performance ratio.

By using a very thin film, it is possible to save a considerable amount of material. The system can either be connected to any production line or automatically fed with a customized feeding unit.

The RE87 is the first Amotek model based on a plug-and-play concept for immediate production. It is in line with the concept of a cost-efficient, all-in-one machine that is easy to operate and can package products in a variety of ways.

For example, it can be used to pack garbage bag rolls, sponges, floor mops, plastic plates, toothbrushes and many other products. All the functions have been incorporated into a very compact, lightweight and intelligent machine design.
