Acme Rolltech, the first Indian manufacturer of ceramic rolls and sleeves, is preparing itself for Labelexpo India 2022 in Greater Noida. Taking place after four years, the event promises the excitement of face-to-face networking and information gathering for the label and packaging industry.

While speaking with Sandeep Sharma, director, Acme Rolltech, we learned that the company will launch its latest engraving technology ‘ACE (Advance Channel Engravings)’ at the event. Apart from the launch, the company will showcase its special rolls used for Screen type raised effects ATAC and high-density white AHDW. Also to be highlighted and discussed will be the company’s cleaning solutions and refurbishment program, which drives sustainable manufacturing.

Sharma says, “Labelexpo India 2018 was very special for us as it was the time when our company was incorporated, and we participated for the first time. In 2018, we were the first Indian to make anilox rolls, and nobody in the industry knew about this. But now, we are renowned in the narrow web flexo industry, and around 70-80% of the label printers are our customers. We work with almost all the OEM manufacturers from India and are already exporting to more than 25 countries.”

“For Labelexpo India 2022, we are expecting a huge crowd and quality customers. At the show, we will show the visitors our recent innovations. In 2022, we installed the latest Anilox Engraving machine, which comes with the highly advanced Laser Engraving technology – Twin Track, and launched the ATAC product. We have also launched AHDW that gives the highest opacity for the white in the narrow web label industry.”

Sharma concluded by saying that he thinks that after the pandemic, the label segment has grown rapidly and will continue its solid growth in the future.
