
Industry leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders converged in Pune for the opening ceremony of the inaugural Packvision Expo 2024 on 13 June 2024. The expo is co-located with the Corrvision Expo- Corrugated packaging exhibition from 13 to 15 June at the Autocluster Exhibition Center, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. The exhibition showcases the latest innovations, technologies, and trends in packaging solutions.

The exhibition which brings together manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers under one roof, features around 143 exhibitors, including global and domestic brands offering a diverse range of products and services designed to meet the evolving demands of the packaging industry. From sustainable packaging alternatives to printing and labeling solutions, the exhibition features exhibitors from the entire packaging value chain.
The conference on the first day of the exhibition on smarter, greener, and consumer-centric packaging had some insights and ideas from brands and veteran industry leaders. The conference had discussions over key issues such as raw material costs, technological gaps, infrastructure bottlenecks, and changing consumer demands that impact the packaging business.
A panel discussion with Kunal Doshi, head of Inbound Logistics and Packaging auto division, Mahindra Group, as moderator explored the concept of achieving profitability while maintaining sustainable practices in packaging. Apart from the strategies, the discussion touched upon the future-proof business models that prioritized both profitability and sustainability.
