Global Engineering Corporation is a manufacturer and supplier of quality testing equipment used in the corrugation, pulp, paper, printing, packaging, converting, plastics, rubber, textile, adhesive, and chemical industries. Several instruments are available to measure more than 50 material properties, including adhesion, abrasion, friction, compression, tensile strength, impact, internal bond, softness and thickness, consistency control loop, motorized basis weight valve, auto guide and other paper mill spares.

At the recently concluded IndiaCorr Expo in Greater Noida, Global Engineering displayed its ring crush tester, bursting strength tester, cobb sizing tester, moisture meter and other quality control related machines.

VK Gupta, manager of sales and services, Global Engineering Corporation, was present at the stand at the show and shared his experience on the exhibition, “This is the fifth edition we are participating in. We are not anticipating a large crowd here. For the past year and a half, the Covid-19 problem has persisted. However, I believe the industry is rebounding in general, and things should only get better in the future.”

Global Engineering received positive reception at IndiaCorr

IndiaCorr Expo was the first corrugated packaging event in India since the Covid-19 pandemic that physically brought the Indian corrugation industry together. Despite being concerned about the exhibition’s attendance, Global Engineering received a positive reception from the event, according to Gupta.

In conversation, Gupta spoke about the audience his company is targeting, “Ballarpur Industries, JK Paper, ITC, Britannia, Parle, Hindustan Unilever, Helios pharmaceuticals, Amul and other leading industry are our clients. Global Engineering is coping with the pandemic by giving solutions to the industry by working on the interface solution application that can work from a distance. The client should fix the problem by sitting far from the plant itself.”

Gupta continued by discussing the company’s future expansion goals, “Today we are operating factories and offices in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Roorkee, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi and Cuttack. We are planning to expand our operations, manufacturing and production units further.”
