John Harrison, technical sales manager for Australia/New Zealand at Chadwicks, explained, “These lids help food manufacturers meet the growing demand for mono-material packaging designed for recycling. They also allow for energy saving as the sealing temperature of the lid is 100 degrees Celsius lower than conventional aluminum and PET lidding.”
Also displayed will be Chadwicks’ newest product development, a resealable lid. This lid removes the necessity for a plastic over-cap whilst keeping products fresher for longer.
“By offering a resealable pre-cut lid, we can help customers increase packing efficiency and reduce plastic usage,” added John Harrison.
John Harrison and Chadwicks’ chief technical officer, Paul Whelan, from the UK, will be at stand C001 at Appex, which takes place between 12 and 15 March at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
