Sealing the deal at Canpac Trends for two Komori multicolor plus coater sheetfed offset presses Photo Komori India

On 29 October 2024, Komori India’s head office in India in Faridabad, announced that Ahmedabad-based Canpac Trends has purchased two new Komori Lithrone G Series presses. For the company which has purchased Heidelberg and K&B presses in the past for its carton production, these will be its first Komori presses. The multilocational packaging company is a provider of a wide range of packaging solutions including flexible packaging.

The Lithrone G Series sheetfed offset presses to be installed at Canpac Trends are a 6-color plus UV coater and 7-color plus UV coater. The two presses configured for printing on heavy board stock will have a maximum speed of 16,500 sheets an hour.

The press release from Komori states, “Formerly called Canary, Canpac Trends was established in the year 1995.” Raag Todi, the company’s junior director states, “We keep raising our standards through constant developments in terms of upgrading our machine portfolio as well as newer applications. As part of it, we have invested in the two new highly advanced and versatile Komori Lithrone G Series presses, which will be installed in our facilities in a matter of few months.”

Jitender Rohilla, general manager of Sales at Komori India, comments, “We are grateful to Canpac Trends for their trust and confidence in Komori technology. It’s confident that these presses will boost the company’s overall productivity to new standards and a whole new level.”
