At the 11th Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit in Mumbai, Kirti Panchal, managing director of Echaar Equipments, highlighted the company’s advanced offerings and the growing potential of CI flexo technology in India’s packaging industry.

Speaking about the event, Panchal praised its comprehensive focus on flexible packaging and films. “This summit is one of the most important events for the industry in India, providing value to all stakeholders, from large corporations to end users and brand owners,” he said. Panchal said Echaar had participated for four consecutive years, benefiting each time from the platform.

At this year’s event, Echaar talked about its machines, including its CI flexo and stack flexo presses, as well as lamination machines. Demonstrating the machines’ capabilities, Echaar displayed printed samples, emphasizing the superior quality achieved with its flexo technology. “All these samples are printed on our presses. They show the world-class quality Indian machinery can achieve,” Panchal said.

In terms of installations, Echaar has already deployed three CI flexo machines and one gearless, –-color stack flexo press across India, with two more CI flexo machines expected to be installed within the next few months. Additionally, the company is preparing to deliver a 6–color stack flexo press to a firm in Maharashtra, alongside two lamination machines.

Looking to the future, Panchal expressed confidence in the growing acceptance of CI flexo technology in India. “There is increasing awareness about this technology, and I believe many companies are preparing to invest in it. The future for CI Flexo in India looks very promising,” he said.
