Gulf Print & Pack
Covering 5,083 sqm of floor space, this year’s show featured a wide range of new technologies including label and package printing, packaging machinery and packaging materials.

Gulf Print & Pack 2024 has closed on a high note, with a total of 250 exhibitors taking part in the show which took place between 9 – 11 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Covering 5,083 sqm of floor space, this year’s show featured a wide range of new technologies including label and package printing, packaging machinery and packaging materials.

This year’s show saw a total of 8,331 visitors from 101 countries attend the three-day show, compared to 7,535 visitors from 90 countries at the 2022 edition, a 10% increase. Saudi Arabia, India, China and Northern Africa were particularly well represented with large visitor delegations.

Showcasing new technologies for the commercial printing market were Ricoh, who presented the Ricoh Pro C9500 and Pro C7500 digital presses and the Auto Color Adjuster inline quality control system.

Heidelberg showed its new Versafire product range capable of printing banners up to 1,260mm and printing on paper media from 40 to 470g/m2 duplex, offering the fifth color as well for online finishing with a multitude of possible substrates.

On the labeling side, Konica Minolta showed its AccurioLabel 400 digital label press printing at speeds up to 39.9 m/min. Epson showcased its L-4733AW press for the first time at a trade show in the Middle East region and its ColorWorks printers C6500 and C4000 on-demand print systems.

Afra demonstrated the new Etirama SPS3 8-color flexo press inline with a Lundberg waste management system. Vinsak sold two label presses, six high build digital embellishment systems, one slitter with semi-automatic turret rewinder and one high speed flatbed die-cutter. 

On the packaging side, exhibitors demonstrated a wide range of equipment and materials, including folding carton forming systems, sustainable protective packaging solutions, blow and injection molding pre-forms and corrugated converting and decoration equipment.
