Established in 2008, Jaipur-based The Idea Factory is a leading name in the manufacturing of outdoor advertising materials, indoor advertising, dispensers, acrylic products, hoarding, flex and vinyl printing, retail marketing materials, LED signage, etc. The company recently diversified into the labels and packaging segment by installing a Jetsci Global KolorSmart+ UV inkjet label production press. The company is also an approved and authorized converter for Avery Dennison’s commercial graphics division since 2010.
According to Yogesh Pradhan, director of The Idea Factory, to stay relevant in the industry one has to constantly re-inovate. “We are a well-known name in the signage printing industry. However, we have ventured into the labels and packaging industry because it is a growing segment and we wanted to explore it. I am a printing engineer looking to diversify my business, specifically in the packaging sector.” With this installation, the company aims to provide the label printing market with up to medium-run label printing applications.
With the new press, the company produces different types of labels used in various industries, such as product packaging, clear, waterproof, and sheet labels.
Pradhan credits his success in the signage printing industry to the latest technologies. The plant is equipped with modern machinery such as HP Latex-335 60”, Epson 60” Eco-solvent 40670, Epson 60” Eco solvent 30650, Epson 60” Eco solvent 50650, Rolant 48” cutting plotter, CNC 144”*48” router machine, CNC 96”*48” laser machine, a Tps-ss channel letter machine and a Caldron four-color solvent printer.

On his recent venture, Pradhan said, “The market is moving toward small jobs and customers need good packaging. With our new installation of Kolorsmart+, we can serve a large section of customers looking for small jobs in digital printing.”
