Robus India launched its new Instafold folder-gluer, with Braille-embossing capability at the 15th Printpack India. This new machine can convert 70,000 boxes per hour. “At this event, we will inform clients about our new projects, the Direction series, and our Braille-embossing capabilities,” Deepesh Vishwakarma, assistant general manager at Robus, told IPP.
“We are here showcasing our made-in-India folder-gluer Direction series, which is specifically built to fulfill the demands of Indian consumers. It is manufactured locally. Through live presentations, the company is also addressing its new initiative for delivering operational excellence and quality standards to its clients,” he added.
“The machine is ready to give its services to all industries ranging from pharma to the corrugated carton industry. The device has a maximum speed of 400 meters per second to make boxes. The machine has a special attachment, which the company calls ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ for tray cartons of 40 millimeter height. The carton can be folded to 165 degrees. With this machine, customers can produce up to 70,000 boxes per hour.”
“We are hoping to get a great number of enquiries at this event, as this is the biggest in-person event after Covid-19,” Vishwakarma said. “At the exhibition, we anticipate creating many leads for this equipment. We already have pre-orders from at least four customers.”
Ultimately, Robus India closed 11 deals at the 15th PrintPack India exhibition in end-May. The company sold a number of die cutters, folder gluers, automatic 5-ply flute laminators, and automatic film lamination machines. The customers came from mainly Delhi, Palwal, Dera Bassi, Haridwar, Noida, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, and Pune.
