Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, venue for the 8th Speciality Films and Flexible Packaging Global Summit

The 8th Speciality Films and Flexible Packaging Global Summit is dedicated to the largest converting segment of polymer processing in India. It provides a platform for producers of raw materials, both within India and overseas, converting machinery manufacturers, major converters of multilayer blown films, cast films, BOPP and BOPET, printing, lamination and post extrusion finishing including automation in material handling and the major end users from food, pharmaceuticals, personal care and agriculture sectors.

The event will take place from 22 to 23 August 2019, at Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai. Elite Plus Speciality Films conference is supported by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, GoI. Deemed as Asia’s leading summit for the packaging industry, the event will have speakers and professionals from across the industry speak on vital topics concerning the growth of the industry.

More than 50 speakers from nearly 25 countries and 350 companies along with 1200 delegates are expected to participate in the event. The keynote speakers at the event will be P Raghavendra Rao, IAS Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, GoI; Ashok Chaturvedi, chairman and managing director of Uflex Group; Vipul Shah, chief operating officer – Petrochemicals, Reliance Industries; Shubhada Rao, chief economist, Yes Bank; Ajit Singh, chairman and managing director of ACG; and Kamal P Nanavaty, president – Strategy Development, Reliance Industries.

The event will witness presentations from over 45 industry leaders, along with panel discussions on Sustainability & Recycling with industry leaders as panelists, business sessions with interactive Q&A sessions with speakers including Lifetime Achievement Awards felicitating industry leaders.
