IndiaCorr Expo opening ceremony

IndiaCorr Expo 2018 opened at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai on 4 October to a strong response. According to a few exhibitors, the footfall on the first day was more than expected. The expo will be held from 4-6 October and some of the leading companies from India and overseas will be showing their latest solutions.

In terms of Indian exhibitors, there are some leading names like Suba Solutions, Printpack Engineers, S.L. Kulkarni Cyril Graphics and Acme Machinery, among others that are talking about and displaying their latest offerings.

In terms of overseas exhibitors, the expo is overwhelmingly dominated by Chinese entities. In fact, China is a dominant participant even when it comes to the overall expo. However, there are European brands as well like Bobst and EMBA Machinery, who have substantial Indian presence. Bobst is not showing any machinery but is actively promoting its range of flexo folder-gluer machines. Another European entity which has significant presence in the Indian corrugated industry, Esko, is also present at the expo and highlighting its WebCenter Quick Start software, which was in fact launched during the show. In addition to the WebCenter Quick Start, the Belgian company will also be promoting its other prepress software solutions. The Esko stand also has a Kongsberg X24 running.

Reed Exhibitions, which is organizing the event, claims that this year’s edition is set to top even last year’s record in terms of international exhibitors and visitors. This edition has dedicated pavilions for international exhibitors from China, Taiwan, USA, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
