Telangana-based Deevyashakti India showcased its coated duplex board at drupa 2024, highlighting its commitment to innovation and quality in the paper packaging industry. The company’s main product lines include coated grey and white back paperboard, available in both light and heavy weight coatings ranging from 180 gsm to 450 gsm, as well as white kraft liner board, offered in both coated and uncoated varieties with weights ranging from 180gsm to 250gsm. These products cater to a diverse range of customers in the paper packaging sector, meeting various packaging and printing needs.
“We are one of the first mills in India to adopt the latest multi-wire technology, which has significantly enhanced our production capabilities and product quality,” said T Sunil, senior manager of exports at Deevyashakti India. “Our advanced technology allows us to produce a variety of grades, including white-back and grey-back boards, which we export to almost 20-25 countries. Currently, we produce 350 tons per day, and we plan to increase our capacity to 550 tons per day within the next year.”

This was Deevyashakti India’s second appearance at the prestigious trade fair, the first being in 2016. drupa, held every four years in Düsseldorf, Germany, is the world’s largest trade fair for the printing, media, and packaging industries, attracting exhibitors and visitors from around the globe. The company had high expectations for this year’s event, hoping to replicate the success of their 2016 outing.
“The response in 2016 was overwhelmingly positive, with a high number of visitors and strong interest in our products,” Sunil explained. “We anticipated a similar level of engagement this year, which is why we decided to participate again. Unfortunately, the footfall this time has been lower, and the crowd is a bit slower. Despite this, we have managed to have meaningful interactions and productive meetings, making our participation worthwhile.”
Deevyashakti India remains optimistic about the future, leveraging the feedback and connections made at drupa to drive further growth and innovation. The company is focused on expanding its market presence and enhancing its production capacity to meet the increasing demand for high-quality paper packaging materials.
