The 11th Specialty Films & Flexible Packaging Global Business Summit 2024 – the world’s largest flexible packaging business summit also known as ElitePlus– will be held from 30 September to 1 Oct 2024 at the Reliance Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.

A premier platform, the summit brings together global names in the packaging industry – including thought leaders, industry stalwarts, innovators, decision-makers, and customers. Over two days, the summit will provide an all-encompassing view of the films and flexible packaging industry through a well-structured format.

Apart from excellent technical content and updates on circular packaging by the leading global suppliers and experts this year, Jacob Duer, the CEO of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, and Luciana Pellegrino, the president of the World Packaging Congress, will be present. With over 2,100 delegates expected, great networking is possible.

The International Packaging Press Organization is supporting the event as is Packaging South Asia just like the previous editions. IPPO members and correspondents will cover the event, including HyeJeong Ahn from South Korea, and Packaging South Asia’s Shardul Sharma and Naresh Khanna from India.

Last year’s 10th edition featured over 70 global subject matter experts who addressed the issue of sustainability in a meaningful manner and attracted more than 1,900 delegates from 725 organizations across 20 countries, cementing its status as the largest flexible packaging business summit in the world, according to the organizers.

The summit draws representatives from all corners of the global films and flexible packaging industry, including raw materials, machinery, and additives manufacturers; adhesives, printing machinery, and inks makers; players from post-extrusion finishing and automation; end-of-line solutions, recyclers, and converters; global brand owners; FMCG companies, and major end users from the food, pharma, personal care, and agriculture sectors; petrochemical industry representatives; policymakers from Indian and international governments; industry associations and the media.

Participants can expect presentations by global and Indian experts on flexible packaging and circularity who will share insights on the latest market trends, technological developments, regulatory changes, EPR obligations, new business opportunities, etc. More than 150 leading companies are expected to exhibit their wide spectrum of products and services.
