Gujarat-based Gayatri Rub Tech produces rubber and chrome rollers for photogravure printing, solvent and solvent-less lamination machines. Although the Indian market has significant potential for the company, Gayatri Rub Tech plans to gradually expand its line across the world. At present, Gayatri acquires 30% of its business revenue from the Gulf, African, Austrian and Portugal regions. By participating at the upcoming K-Show, Gayatri Rub Tech looks to further extend its trade in the global marketplace.

Jitendra Patel, chief executive officer, Gayatri Rub Tech says, “Founded in 1990, Gayatri Rub Tech has about 20 years of experience in manufacturing of rubber rolls for local machinery manufacturers. Our main focus has always been on flexible packaging and plastic industries.” Gayatri Rub Tech recently invested in a second plant, equipped with four European machines and spread across 35,000 sq. ft. in Gujarat industrial region, India. The total productivity from both the units is around 750 rolls a month.”

Gayatri Rub Tech will be participating in K-2016 for the third time. Their participation in the previous edition of the expo helped Gayatri Rub Tech to grow their business revenue by 30%. “Earlier, visitors were a bit reluctant to visit Indian exhibitors, but with increased quality of products, there is a growing interest among the visitors. Through K-2016, we wish to encourage quality Indian-made products and gradually it is being accepted across developed countries. To double our revenue from exports, we are in discussions to collaborate with a European company to increase our presence in UK, Europe and the US,” Patel concludes.

Gayatri Rub Tech will showcase solvent-less rubber roll, roto gravure rubber roll, flexo rubber roll and sleeve at Stand 3G–07, Hall 3.
