Fosber – a global supplier for the design, construction, and installation of complete lines as well as individual machine units for the production of corrugated board packaging —participated at IndiaCorr Expo 2023 in Delhi-NCR, promoting its SLine and ProLine corrugator machines. Taking stock of the industry’s requirements, the company pointed out that converters are now more aware of technological advancements.
Converters are coming up with rare projects and keep an open eye for their requirements, said Deepak Singh, senior manager, sales and business development, Fosber India. “It is visible how everyone, be it machine manufacturers, converters, or even consumers, is becoming more technologically oriented. The converters are pushing harder to be self-reliant and always opt for the most high-end machinery for their production processes.”
Fosber is headquartered in Italy with manufacturing sites in Italy, the US, and China. It has set up several service centers across the world to provide customer service and spare parts along with service engineers.
The SLine is available in 420 and 370 mpm and ProLine in 320 and 270 mpm. Singh said, “ProLine is the right product for the Indian market in terms of targeted volumes. It is the latest design in corrugated converting and the technology is based on feedback from several global solution providers. The product had an increasing sales record in the past five years. Many customers say that despite reducing the gsm in their paperboards, they still get an end product of exceptional quality.”
Fosber is among the leading providers who are implementing artificial intelligence and cloud computing in their machinery for the transition to industry 4.0 as the company feels automation will be a key growth driver.
