To promote innovation and nurture the future workforce with its annual Kaushal Internship Program, Popli Graphics, a supplier of printing consumables, materials, and equipment, welcomed 11 students from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, for a comprehensive five-week internship experience.
Under the leadership of managing directors Sanjeev Popli and Rajeev Popli, this year, PGPL entrusted this budding talent with five diverse projects, each aimed at defining and determining the market dynamics and scope of new product entries in the Indian printing supplies sector. One of the projects was focused on the corrugation industry, an area where PGPL has core expertise in providing both adhesives and inks and which is being showcased at IndiaCorr Expo in Greater Noida.
The project was collaboratively undertaken by three students. PGPL shared its knowledge and experience and allowed the student-interns to see and experience both the market and the processes of manufacturing.
The projects included – end seals and doctor blades; the corrugation industry; anilox cylinders and cleaning services; anilox cylinders; and gravure versus flexo.
To push the student-intern experience further in this dynamic industry, PGPL is showcasing and releasing the project report on the corrugation industry at the IndiaCorr Expo, which was prepared by student interns Diksha Narula, Manish Kaushik, and Yashi Gupta.
Scheduled from 28 to 30 October October under the aegis of the Indian Corrugated Case Manufacturers Association (ICCMA), the exhibition will provide young student-interns opportunities to network with industry players including suppliers, associations, and allied bodies. It will enable them to see first-hand the corrugated packaging, box-making, and folding carton business – and the best of machinery, ancillary equipment, and raw materials.
