Fujifilm Sericol, a key supplier to the international label & packaging market, showcased innovative Sericol inks at the Labelexpo 2022 show held at Indian Expo Mart and Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR.

Fujifilm Sericol is investing heavily in research and development, launching an R&D innovations center on 8 October 2019, which was inaugurated by its former chairman Rob Fassam. The company says it believes in providing innovative solutions, which is synonymous with excellent printing ink quality, and develops competitive products regularly for the printing industry.

The company has laid down a framework to innovate eco-friendly printing solutions, introduce good quality cost-effective products and customized products for special printing applications. Having six sales and distribution offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Tirupur, Hosur, and also along with the central warehouse at Sanaswadi, Pune, the company makes its products and services easily available to all customers spread across India and to export territories as well. With a focus on the Indian subcontinent, South-East Asia and the East Asian markets, export sales contribute approximately 20% to its FSID business.

Managing director M P Raghav Rao, explaining the company’s work culture, said, “We address everyone as equals in Fujifilm Sericol. Innovation and inspiration comes from where you least expect it and that is the motivation of our professional eco-system. The health of our employees, or rather Fujifilm Sericol family members as we would like to address, is more important to us than their productivity. Mental health is another important aspect. We have meditation centers at our office.”

The global pandemic is a testament to the survival and growth of the printing and packaging industries, which despite countless hurdles, achieved growth. Inflation is skyrocketing endlessly, GDP has fallen and unemployment is rising but in comparison to other countries, India is still holding fort,” Rao adds.

Aditya Mishra, heads of public relations, said competition is a shabby term, and they encourage ideas, innovations and empathy. “We support our employees in following their passion. We aspire to create an open, fair, and clear workplace culture that allows us to discern objective facts sincerely and straightforwardly, make rational decisions, and continuously take on challenges with courage.”
