Global Graphics Machineries, Weigang’s distributor in India, was present at the Labelexpo India 2024 show with the company’s converting and finishing machines. Holoflex, a security solutions provider, signed up for a quartet of Weigang’s machines, comprising a fully servo-driven shaftless ZM-320 semi-rotary / intermittent die-cutting machine with its patented register die-cutting system and DK-450 slitting machines.
Nalin Sharma, director, Global Graphics Machineries says, “Weigang machines find a place with the prominent Indian label and hologram converters. Weigang’s ZM-320 intermittent / semi-rotary die-cutting and finishing machine has been installed with leading security printers in India, including Holostik, Shriram Veritech, Jupiter Technologies, and Kumbhat Holographics, among others. Considering the performance of this machine with their contemporaries, for Holoflex it was a strategic decision.”
Zhejiang Weigang Technology is a global player in label printing, converting, and finishing equipment. Weigang employs around 400 people. Spread across a sprawling area of 135,000 square meters, Weigang’s facilities produce equipment driven by advanced technologies. Weigang has exported its technology to over 90 countries worldwide.

Sharma told Packaging South Asia briefly about his 20 years of experience in the narrow and mid-web industry, highlighting he has never missed a single edition of the labels show. The distributor has been representing the equipment manufacturer for more than 18 years. “We first participated in this show in 2004 when it was still called ‘India Labels’ show. Having seen the transition in technology, it makes me happy to say Ab India ka time aaa gaya hai! (India’s time has come)”
