Digital printing solutions provider Domino displayed a number of innovative printing solutions at the Labelexpo India 2022 show in Greater Noida – highlighting the K300 variable data printer and demonstrating the flagship K600i printer. Domino partnered with UV Graphics for the event.

“Our highlight was the K300 high-speed variable data printer that can print at 250 meters per minute. This was the first time ever Domino demonstrated the K300 anywhere in the world outside its facility. We showed the flagship K600i digital inkjet printer that can print at 150 meters per minute with 600X600 dpi resolution. At the show, we integrated the press with a slitter rewinder from UV Graphics. The press has an inspection system installed,” Ajay RaoRane, vice-president sales, digital printing, told Packaging South Asia.

Domino also displayed the hybrid solution N610i press, which was integrated with a UV line from UV Graphics and was demonstrated at the latter’s booth.

“We called the entire solution Dominator and it was successfully run at the UV Graphics booth. This was the first time we showed a full hybrid line in India. This line can do digital embellishment, conventional embellishment, semi-rotary die-cutting, web viewing, cold foiling before and after digital, among others. This solution offers a lot of possibilities to label convertors,” RaoRane said.

An exciting show

Domino’s stall was buzzing with visitors. RaoRane says the fact that the event was taking place after four years was a reason enough for the industry to be excited.

“We are very happy with the response we got at the expo. The visitors were impressed with the solutions we displayed at our booth as well as at the UV Graphics stand. They liked the samples produced at both the stalls,” RaoRane concluded.
