Weigang’s flexographic printing press

weigand

Weigang’s latest flexo press adopts the latest German servo control technology. Each printing unit is driven by multiple independent servo motors – there are 23 servo motors in total for an 8-color machine which ensures accurate registration during high-speed running.

The press uses a plate sleeve system which is light, easy to handle, convenient and fast to change. This type of design improves printing quality and reduces maintenance. Chilled anvil rolls make the press well equipped to handle film materials including PET, OPP, CPP and PP.

Weigang launches its new digital press, which can be configured with flexo print units for pre-coating, printing solid colors and varnishing up to a full hybrid configuration including inline die cutting.

Rhyguan Machinery’s Rhyguan PLUS-330

The Rhyguan PLUS-330 is designed to finish digitally printed labels with high-quality embellishments. Adding value to labels that help brands sell their products faster. The Rhyguan plus330 has a factory modular design that enables you to pick only the modules you need, in the sequence you need them.

There are new modules like fast silk screen printing; silk foil; digital foil.

Fast silk screen is fully digitally controlled servo-driven units. Not only the paper tension and the step-and-repeat is servo controlled, but also the up-down-movement of the blades, the actual pressure applied is controlled from the user interface. This makes the results repeatable and stable. The modular can be combined with the Rhyguan silk foil unit.

Silk foil is an optional warm lamination unit behind any of the silkscreen units from Rhyguan. Full rotary warm lamination onto suitable (thick) silkscreen glue will allow for the transfer of foil onto the glue, creating a nice 3-d effect with the foil, without the disadvantages of hot foil/embossing. Also suitable for some doming applications.

Digital foil, as well as digital varnish and digital silk results. Fully digital without a need for plates. Very suitable for ultra short-run jobs, and personalized labels, or high-end security applications.
