Delhi-based Ample Graphics, a provider of lamination, window-patching, rigid box-making, corrugation, stripping, and die-cutting machines for the packaging industry, demonstrated live the ZF-800, a high-speed three-dimensional molding box machine, at IntraPac 2024 in Greater Noida. Ample Graphics represents several reputed Chinese brands in India and has over 650 installations all over the country.

The three-dimensional box molding machine on display can produce paper-based ready-to-eat food packaging products such as hamburger boxes, lunch boxes, and takeaway boxes for any kind of solid food. The machine adopts glue sealing and hot-air sealing (for PE-coated paper).

Sachin Kala, director of Ample Graphics, said, “It’s a highly versatile machine that can produce boxes of various shapes and sizes by a simple change in the forming mold.” Working at a speed of up to 200 pcs/min, it uses food-grade, water-based glue with high accuracy for efficient results.

Kala said automation is the biggest challenge in packaging. He says the demand for packaging in pharma and FMCG is growing and customers are looking for automation, which will help to provide quick services to their clients. “Automation is necessary at any plant for efficient progress.”

MJ Global, Parksons Packaging, Prem Industries, and Lynx Designers are some of Ample’s key customers.

Kala termed IntraPac 2024 as a “demand-generation exhibition.” He hoped all companies participating in the exhibition would receive a lot of queries about their machines and services.
