Vasai-based paper packaging specialist, Sheth Impression LLP, has finalized a purchase agreement for a DGM Smartfold 800PC folder gluer. The announcement was made on the inaugural day of Pamex 2024, currently underway in Mumbai from February 6-9.
Bhaven Seth of Sheth Impression said, “This marks our initial collaboration with DGM. We had intended to close the deal earlier, but we awaited the completion of our new, more spacious facility in Nalasopara, on the outskirts of Mumbai, capable of accommodating the DGM Smartfold. Our previous facility lacked the necessary space for this advanced folder gluer.”
Sheth Impression, a key supplier of folding cartons to the pharmaceutical industry, boasts an array of folder gluers, die cutters, and offset presses. The company’s decision to invest in the DGM Smartfold 800PC aligns with its expansion plans at the new location.
DGM at Pamex 2024
DGM’s showcase at Pamex 2024 includes not only the Smartfold 800PC folder gluer but also its Technocut 105 die cutter with stripping.Â
Puneet Aggarwal of DGM India shared, “Last year, we exclusively displayed a folder gluer. This year, we’ve chosen to feature our flagship die cutter, the Technocut 105. Additionally, we plan to unveil a larger format die cutter at Drupa, set to be available in India later this year.”
Aggarwal also mentioned that DGM India anticipates announcing several deals during the four-day Pamex 2024 event, further solidifying their market presence.
