Parksons Packaging has purchased a Manroland R700 double-color plus coater sheetfed offset press for installation at its North India plant in Pantnagar. Chairperson of Parksons Packaging, Ramesh Kejriwal, said, “We are satisfied with the performance of our existing Manroland presses, and have opted for a demo press for value addition. The quality and productivity of our existing Manroland presses, along with the reinforced Manroland management team, gave us the confidence to go ahead with this purchase.”
Parksons Packaging currently has four Manroland Sheetfed multicolor plus coater presses in their plants and this will be the fifth Manroland machine to be installed in their countrywide network of monocarton production locations.
Peter Rego, director of business development for Manroland Sheetfed India, said, “We are excited and humbled to see the confidence levels back for MR Sheetfed India with this sale, and the sale of two brand new 7-color coater UV presses to other customers in India. We are evolving and gearing up for many more such successful sales in the near future, by ramping up our after sales services and spare parts support system to ensure that our customers are satisfied with our all-round services. We thank Mr. Kejriwal and the Parksons Packaging team for reposing their confidence in Manroland Sheetfed India once again.”
The Manroland Sheetfed 7-color plus coater UV press sales mentioned above by Peter Rego are for Sain Packaging in Rai and Galaxy Offset in Manesar. While we wrote about these sales in our August issue, our visit to Galaxy Offset is covered in this issue and our visit to Sain Packaging will appear in the October issue.
