Kurz India, a global leader in printing and packaging embellishments, unveiled several innovations at Printpack 2025 in Greater Noida. Jitender Pal Singh, CEO of Kurz India, highlighted the company’s latest technological advancements and its commitment to sustainability.
New product launches and highlights
Kurz India introduced its Silver Line product range; a packaging technology designed to enhance aesthetics and elevate product presentation. Singh emphasized that this technology provided superior visual effects, enhancing the overall appeal of packaging.
Another key attraction at the event was the 60 Degree Box Concept, a novel design approach first introduced at drupa and marking the first time Kurz showcased the concept in India. “This concept allows for creative box decoration, moving away from conventional designs to provide brands with innovative packaging solutions,” Singh explained.
Kurz India projected the company’s strong emphasis on sustainability. The company has significantly reduced polymer based film thickness in its materials, bringing it down from 12 microns to 6 microns—a globally patented innovation.
In addition, Kurz India introduced a new range of thermal transfer ribbons and modern security solutions. Among them is a multicolor foil that serves as both a decorative and security feature, offering customizable solutions for brand protection.
Advanced digital solutions for anticipating foil effects
One of the most talked-about innovations was the Dream Composer, a software solution for real-time product design. “Dream Composer allows designers to create and modify designs with foil effects instantly. Once finalized, designs can be shared with brand teams via WhatsApp and other digital platforms, enabling seamless online collaboration,” Singh noted.
For the first time in India, Kurz India showcased its digital embellishment machine, a technology previously introduced at drupa. “We believe India is a rapidly growing market that demands the latest technologies. With increasing interest in digital printing and embellishments, we see significant potential for growth,” Singh added.
Positive reception by PrintPack visitors
Reflecting on the event’s success, Singh described Printpack 2025 as a highly productive platform. “The response has been fantastic. We have engaged with numerous new and existing customers, and our portfolio has generated a lot of interest,” he said.
Kurz India remains committed to driving innovation and bringing world-class printing and packaging solutions to the Indian market. “India is embracing new technologies, and we are excited to be part of this transformation,” Singh concluded.
