Re India, a subsidiary branch of Re-SpA, Italy, which provides to the paper, printing, and packaging industry in India its range of equipment designed to optimize production and reduce time, displayed its solutions at Labelexpo India 2024.

The company showcased its pneumatic and electromagnetic powder brakes and clutches, load cells, tension controllers, amplifiers, and longitudinal slitting systems. The highlight was the demo model of a web viewing system, ReVision NET.

Explaining the details of the system, Dipesh Shah, general manager of operations, Re India said, “ReVision NET is based on an innovative optical design that uses dual sensors and a high-resolution lens system to capture details up to 10 μm. It can reproduce on the monitor with extreme fidelity the most particular processes such as gold leaf, fluorescent colors, and embossed prints even at the maximum web speeds up to 1200 m/min.” The 24″ touch screen monitor together with numerous functionalities, is an add-on feature that makes the system simple to calibrate and manage.”

Among Re India’s extensive portfolio, the CX model of combi flex brakes has emerged as a standout product in the industry. These modular disc brakes and clutches are equipped with calipers and come in standard versions with discs ranging from 200 to 500 mm. They offer braking torque from 0.75 to 4620 Nm and heat dissipation capacities of up to 15 kW. “The CX model is one of the most popular in the market due to its versatility and efficiency,” Shah noted.

According to Shah, Re India is particularly well-regarded for its web tension control systems, an area where it claims to hold 70% of the market share. Shah stated, “We are very strong in the market with our web tension control systems.”

Through the exhibition, the team aimed to increase its market share in the guiding system. Re India also used the event as an opportunity to identify potential clients and pitch its solutions to companies.
