
At Printpack 2015, Sergusa Solutions, a sister concern of SLKCG, showcased MIS solutions and inspection systems from Solprint of UK, box making machines from Fuchu Shiko of Japan and inspection systems from Beijing Daheng Image Vision of China. Jaideep Kulkarni, director of SL Kulkarni Cyril Graphics told that with all the principals present at its
stand in Printpack, it will be a brilliant opportunity to interact with new customers and increase awareness of the entire range of products and solutions it is presenting to the Indian market.
Japanese automated rigid boxes and semi-automated rigid box making machine manufacturer Fuchu Shiko has over 500 installations in Japan and has already installed about 10 machines in India. Ricky Chan, project manager of Fuchu Shiko while speaking to Packaging South Asia said, “Fuchu Shiko has more than 55 years of experience and we know the pulse of boxmakers since we are one ourselves. Our machines are very easy to use and customizable. Apart from India, we are also focusing on the Koreanand Chinese markets. We opened our factory in Shanghai in China in 2005. Our quality and speed will ensure that we can take on our competition.”
Peter Griffin, managing director of Solprint while explaining the salient features of its end to-end management information system (MIS) software solution said, “Our software is a complete workflow which is completely modular. The Indian market is maturing and thus we see great potential for growth. We already are an established player in the UK with about 23 years of experience and can attend to all the software needs of a packaging or even a publishing company which is multi-located.”
It was the first time that Beijing Daheng was participating in an Indian exhibition. It is still a new company in the Indian market with their range of inspection systems and have so far installed two machines at ITC Chennai and have received an order of another four from TCPL Packaging. Pan Jin, general manager of Beijing Daheng said, “With our vastrange of inspection systems, we are sure that we can meet the expectations of the entire industry. We are optimistic about receiving a good response.”
