At Printpack India 2025, Kundli-based Sodhisons demonstrated and sold 22 machines — HPM paper cutting machines and pile turner with aeration and vibration. The company also highlighted its machinery, such as specialized crosograph high-pressure die-cutting and hot foil stamping machines with air clutch for cutting 3-4 mm rigid kappa board hangers, Heidelberg cylinder, and fingerless single facer corrugation machines.
Shenso (a unit of Sodhisons and Daya), representing Fangbang, a leading manufacturer of paper bag machines in India, showcased a fully automatic square bottom paper bag-making machine with both twisted rope handle and flat rope handle, to achieve round and flat dual-use. Special models can do upto 300 mm wide bottom.
Nitin Sodhi, managing director of Sodhisons, announced the sale of advanced machines to clients such as Khosla Printers ay Sahibabad in UP; Manohar Filament, Barhi- Haryana; Sanat Printers, Kundli, Haryana; Alankar Lamination Delhi and a fully automatic die-cutting, deep embossing and hot foil stamping machine with 600 tons pressure to Global Printing and Packaging, Bangalore.
Sodhi said, “The industry is poised for double-digit growth in 2025 due to these dynamic changes. As businesses adapt to new trends and consumer preferences, the printing and packaging sector in India continues to thrive, paving the way for innovative solutions and expanded market reach. Printpack India remains a pivotal platform for industry players to exchange knowledge, forge partnerships, and drive growth. The insights gained and connections made during this exhibition will propel the sector forward, ensuring that businesses are well-equipped to tackle future challenges and capitalize on emerging trends.”
The demonstrated machine was booked by Mainetti, Chennai – a 60-year-old company for retail and apparel brands. As Sundeep, India head said, “Mainetti is a multinational company with presence in many countries, which drives transformation in supply chains through its Full Circle initiative, focusing on decarbonizing operations and promoting the circular economy to solve the challenge of single-use plastics.”
Another order for a double-track V bottom paper bag machine, a first-of-its-kind installation in India, with a speed of up to 1800 bags per minute, was also inked during the show. Jammu-based Impressions Printing & Packaging (a unit of the Amar Ujala Group) invested in KDX automatic dry lamination with special metal coating transfer technology.
Tanmay Maheshwari, managing director, said, “We decided to invest in KDX because the machine is equipped with a hot knife cutting system, a Japanese patented heating system, auto sheet size setting with HMI, and a high pile feeder of 1350 mm, allowing us to perform laminating jobs at a speed of 100 mpm with five servos and high levels of cutting accuracy.”
Additionally, it features the latest coating transfer system, which is essential for film-free packaging. Three more customers – two based in Delhi NCR and one in Sivakasi — also confirmed their orders for automatic dry lamination.
Shenso also launched a complete line of cold foiling solutions with a high-speed automatic stop cylinder screen printing machine with a speed of 4000 sph with a UV IR dryer, stacker, and cold foilier with a step function to save foil. The complete line was picked up by Alankar Lamination, Delhi.
Global Printing and Packaging, Bangalore, and HBD Packaging, Noida each picked up a high-speed window patching machine that runs upto 20,000 cartons per hour and is equipped with 10 servos.
“It was a very rewarding show for us since we could close several orders and meet our old customers, connect with new, and introduce our latest state-of-the-art machines which speak for their precision, speed, and performance,” says Sodhi.
