Somic’s line-up provides integrated machine design, which covers all work steps from carton feeding and product grouping to carton sealing in one machine. Gentle product guidance is particularly important here, because even sensitive product packages are safely brought together to form the desired product formation. The Somic 434 machine which received great attention at Interpack 23 in in Düsseldorf will also be displayed in the new showroom in Bangkok for users in the Southeast Asian region.

“With the permanent presentation of our machine – independent of trade fairs – we offer our new clientele in Asia, the opportunity to personally examine the quality of our machines. This allows us to discuss specific projects in depth on site at our new branch and to present the advantages of the machine concept in detail,” explains Patrick Bonetsmüller, managing director of SOMIC, at the opening of the new branch.

With its own team, which is now the direct contact in Bangkok for all users from the markets in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and South Korea as well as the Philippines, Somic is making its first appearance on these markets. “We are ready for internationalization and can name numerous projects of well-known large corporations as reference. These global players operate internationally and naturally demand great efficiency in packaging processes for production sites in the Asian region,” says the managing director. “These references from European projects are the basis for winning new customers in the Asian region,” he adds.
