At Labelexpo India 2024, Mumbai-based Standard Printers Providers talked about the Taiyo UV flexo presses. Gaurav Sachdeva of Standard Printers, also shared insights into the company’s performance and outlook during the show. He highlighted key achievements, market trends, and challenges shaping the printing industry.

Standard Printers showcased its flagship flexo presses. “Our flexo presses are robust, built with high-quality metallurgy, and designed to meet the rigorous demands of customers. It’s encouraging to see customers recognizing our quality standards and returning for more,” Sachdeva remarked.

Asked about the show’s overall success, Sachdeva expressed satisfaction with the turnout. “The response has been positive, with a good footfall and visitors. We are in progressive discussions with several customers and hope to finalize some deals soon. Once confirmed, we will share the details,” he said.

According to Sachdeva, the event attracted a wide variety of visitors. “We met label printers, filmic job specialists, and customers seeking multi-purpose solutions. The variety made the experience even more dynamic and rewarding,” he said.

Reflecting on its recent achievements, Sachdeva said Standard Printers installed a new machine in 2024 and plans to add another by early 2025. He remained optimistic about the future, “We expect good business in 2025 and look forward to seeing how things progress.”

Industry growth and challenges

Sachdeva acknowledged the growing demand within the industry, with customers increasingly seeking bespoke solutions. “The industry is growing, with more focus on fulfilling specific customer needs,” he said. He also pointed to a key challenge — rising costs. “Pricing pressure is affecting all sectors, from raw materials to machinery and spare parts. It’s a concern for everyone involved,” he explained.
