Discussing the High Shear Mixer, Anupam Kumar Singh of Tetra Pak India explained that the machine can handle various processed foods, including ketchup, sauces, hummus, and processed cheese. “This equipment is versatile, has a vacuum system, direct steam injection, jacket heating, and cooling. It’s more than just a mixer—it’s a mixing solution that can manage capacities from small-scale to as large as 20,000 litres,” Singh said.

Tetra Recart also offers environmental benefits, reducing carbon emissions by up to 81% compared to steel cans and glass jars. Made from 69% renewable paperboard and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), it ensures sustainable sourcing.

Singh said Tetra Recart, a cutting-edge retort technology, addresses challenges associated with traditional packaging such as space and safety concerns. “This technology allows for the efficient processing of a wide variety of foods,” he said, noting that the solutions are suitable for all types of food processing companies.
