Noida-based UV Graphic Technologies launched its Ultraflex narrow web flexo press at Labelexpo India in Greater Noida in September 2018. It then showed the Ultraflex press again at Printpack at the beginning of 2019 at

Greater Noida. It demonstrated a 370 mm-width 8-color label press at Labelexpo Brussels 2019. The press being demonstrated live at the show was sold to Spec Systems in South Africa.

Abhay Dutta, director of UV Graphic Technologies, pointed out that the Ultra-flex is a neat and clean self-contained machine without any cables and pipes sticking out here and there. He describes it as a cleanroom machine. Dutta asserts that the CE certified label press has the shortest web path and enables automated registration with less than 3 meters of wastage.

Of the 11 Ultraflex UFO presses sold and installed so far, nine are in India and one in South Africa. The eleventh press will be the second to be installed in South Africa. UV Graphic sold nine universal flexo plate mounters at the show as well.

To have shown the new Ultraflex running at three shows inside 13 months is commendable as is the quality of the press itself with state-of-the-art automation and UV curing options. To have sold something like a dozen newly designed presses straight out of the gate is also a commendable achievement.
