Essel Propack has won the prestigious IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality (RBNQA) Performance Excellence Trophy 2015 for its manufacturing unit in Goa

On receiving the award, Essel Propack’s vice president AMESA (Africa, Middle East and South Asia, including India), Roy Joseph, said, “The award is recognition for the efforts of all the employees of EP Goa and the management leadership team, who are on the journey to achieve excellence. Winning this award reinforces our manufacturing units resolve in aligning with the mission, vision and values of Essel Propack. This recognition motivates us as an organization to not only sustain our performance but also enhance it in the years to come.”

The IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards instituted in 1996 are named after Ramkrishna Bajaj, head of the Bajaj Group of companies, and give special recognition to excellence in organizations in six categories – manufacturing, services, small businesses, overseas organizations, education and health care. The selection criteria emphasizes on openness and transparency in governance and ethics. Essel Propack’s Goa unit has won the excellence trophy in the first year of its application.

A panel of specially trained and expert judges from different fields evaluated the Goa factory on several parameters – quality of service, leadership, human resource, process management, knowledge management, strategic planning, consumer and market focus, measurement and analysis management and business results for the last three years.
