The new Hitachi UX2 Continuous Inkjet Printer drives efficiency forward by using improved dot control algorithms to produce legible codes at the highest production speeds. The printer features a newly designed print head with a mist shield function that collects ink mist during printing before it reaches the sensitive print components, ensuring consistent high-quality printing and minimizing the need for print head cleaning.

The UX2’s innovative Safe Clean function offers several benefits to the user and the printer itself, including minimizing the effort for cleaning the printer, and allowing the user to quickly and easily clean the printer without long interruptions in production, saving time and resources as less solvent is needed. Furthermore, the Safe Clean function also improves print quality and extends the printer’s life by regularly cleaning the print head, ensuring a consistently high print quality and avoiding clogging and contamination.

The experts at Hitachi also ensure that the product is printed correctly, using the MC20 camera system to continuously check the readability and conformity of the inkjet print according to customer requirements, avoiding incorrectly printed product packaging, saving valuable transport capacity and preventing possible customer complaints.
