Moglix Packaging, a Noida-based B2B commerce platform in the industrial & MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) procurement space — providing end-to-end solutions for BOPP films, corrugated boxes, poly mailers, customized boxes, and paper bags — has grown its manufacturing capacity in packaging films and products. The company is building an operating system for manufacturing to provide its customers with a full-stack service covering procurement, packaging, supply chain financing, and highly integrated software.
Varun Bothiyal, senior director, says Moglix Packaging’s operational model is for a diverse range of industries and optimizes packaging processes through automation, data-driven insights, and eco-friendly practices. “Moglix’s operational model is tailored for a diverse clientele, spanning manufacturing, distribution, eCommerce, logistics, and businesses of all sizes. We are solution providers to startups and large corporations alike, offering cost reduction, operational efficiency, and eco-friendly packaging benefits.”
Moglix recently launched Credlix, a supply chain financing platform for suppliers and manufacturers, and expects to power Rs1,000 crore of financing in the coming year. “Our model optimizes efficiency, sustainability, and accuracy by integrating technology and data-driven insights. It includes real-time inventory management, demand forecasting, automated order processing, and packaging optimization, reducing errors, and waste, and enhancing customer satisfaction through cost savings,” he says.
As a contract aggregator and supplier of packaging materials since 2019, the company works for brands such as Lenskart, Comesum, Zomato, Swiggy, Rebel Foods, and several others. In packaging supply chain procurement, its profitability comes from its expertise in leveraging volume purchasing with the use of digitalization, vendor consolidation, product and pricing uniformity, benchmarking, and new product development.
According to Bothiyal, Moglix Packaging’s model is highly relevant due to the growing demand for efficient and sustainable packaging. “It aligns with global trends in automation and data-driven decision-making, enabling businesses to stay competitive by providing real-time insights and eco-conscious practices that reduce waste, promoting long-term success,” he said.
“Furthermore, Moglix’s operational model actively contributes to sustainability initiatives by reducing packaging waste. As environmental concerns continue to gain prominence, businesses embracing sustainable practices position themselves favorably for long-term success. Our contribution is a pragmatic approach for companies to minimize their environmental footprint,” he concludes.
