At the Printpack 2019 show in Greater Noida, Vinsak announced its new alliance with SPG Prints. Michael Tschol of SPG Prints was present at the Vinsak stand during the show. Austria-based SPG Prints is represented by its sister concern in India named Stovec Industries in Ahmedabad. The Austrian company has a special position in the group for being the most competent part of the group offering prepress equipment.
“Our focus is wider than just the label business. We with our prepress portfolio fit perfectly to Vinsak’s processes. With this alliance, we will jointly offer prepress solutions to the customers along with the press and postpress that Vinsak already offers. We believe this alliance gives both the companies a win-win situation. And with Vinsak’s reach in India, we hope to market our products better and reach out to a wide customer base throughout the country,” Tschol says.
SPG first contacted Ranesh Bajaj of Vinsak during Labelexpo India 2018 in November. The actual deal came through shortly before the Printpack exhibition. Bajaj says that the company is very excited about the deal.
“SPG has a wider product portfolio which hopefully will help us supply to the market soon. We were delivering press and postpress equipment to our customers earlier but with this deal, we will be able to cover the entire spectrum of the printing process with prepress, press and postpress equipment.
“We already have a team which is trained for the new system. And we hope in the coming weeks we crack some deals with a few companies. We’re extremely optimistic and are waiting to get in touch with the media soon again to make a sale public,” says Bajaj.
At its stand at Printpack 2019, Vinsak is displaying the Lombardi 430 8-color press which has already been sold, the announcement about which will be done on Day 3 of the show in the presence of the customer. The company is also displaying the Vinsak USAR machine with a 100% camera inspection system. Additionally, the company is showcasing its pile turner and its new and upgraded slitter rewinder, the Vinsak TTR, which was launched at Labelexpo India 2018 in Greater Noida.
