At the recently concluded Labelexpo Europe 2017, Vinsak, one of the leading print equipment suppliers, demonstrated the USAR 330 (Universal Slitter Rewinder). The machine is equipped with inkjet system with UV drying and 100% inspection system. Along with Vinsak, its allied principles, Lombardi, ABG, Iwasaki, Pantec, Schober & Jet Europe also showcased their machines at the show.
Vinsak managed to sign a few deals at the event as well. It confirmed sales of three Lombardi Synchroline press during the show. A number of orders for ABG finishing equipment were also received.

One of the Synchroline press has been ordered by Hyderabad-based Mold-Tek Packaging Limited (MTPL), which is a leading name in rigid plastic packaging, in-mold label decoration and is involved in the manufacturing of injection-molded containers for lubes, paints, food and other products.
MTPL has invested in a Synchroline 430 8-color fully servo UV flexo press. The multi-substrate press is equipped with movable cold foil, chiller, two diecutting stations, slitter, turn bar, relam, delam, sheeter, conveyor and lamination. The flexo press will provide high-quality printing on in-mold labels at a speed of 220 meters minute.
Manipal Africa is another firm to have ordered the Lombardi Synchroline mid-web flexo press. It already has three flexo and two gravure machines producing 550,000 linear meters a day. The press will be installed at the company’s Nairobi plant. “This will be the first Synchroline in eastern Africa and after this, we will bring in a range of label finishing machines to accommodate our growing production requirements,” says Pritam Choudhary, managing director at Manipal Africa.

Hyderabad-based start-up Citrus Packaging has invested in Synchroline 330, an 8-color UV press with chill drum, rotary diecutting, inline sheeting and the ability to print on substrate thickness of 12-500 microns.
Apart from Synchroline, Citrus has invested in Vinsak’s digital label printing and finishing solutions.
