Nashik-based Shweta Print O Pack, supplies to the automobile, electrical, food and pharmaceutical industries. The company recently installed a RI-JX-1200PC highspeed folder gluer from Robus India especially to run critical corrugated cartons around a couple of months ago. “This machine is sturdy with almost no sound and vibration that speaks volumes about the built of the machine. The entire process of installation was hassle-free and the Robus India team supported us well. We hope that this machine helps us gain customers and increase footprint in the market,” says Anil V Ghuge, managing director of Shweta Print O Pack.
“The main reason behind installing this machine from Robus India was to produce high volume lock-bottom cartons, offer partition within the cartons, and for E-flute boxes. The production speed has increased with the new technology in the machine and the fibre tear can be observed immediately upon picking the carton from the pressure conveyor on the delivery.
“There are several reasons why we purchased this machine from Robus India. Competitive price point at which the machine comes is one factor but more than that, certain features such as the carton alligner technology along with double side glue tank, lock bottom pre-folding device and auto removal of center conveyor worked in the favor of this investment. So far, our experience with this machine has been extremely well and we have started experiencing a surge in demand,” Ghuge explains.
Ghuge says that the decision also depended on the word of mouth publicity by some in the industry. The positive feedback helped drive the decision in favor of Robus India. With the new machine, Shweta is now able to provide accurately finished products in the market. It is now aiming to target new customers without affecting or compromizing the quality and reducing the time delay. Ghuge concludes, “The packaging production market is evolving. New designs are being introduced that make the products look attractive and unique on the shelves. I feel this was the right time for us to invest in a machine and I hope this decision paysoff well in the coming months.”
