The 6-color Lombardi Flexoline is equipped with de-lam and re-lam, a moveable cold foil unit, full servo infeed and rewinder as well as corona and web cleaning options. The press can print and convert substrates from 30 to 450 microns. A Vinsak manufactured finishing system has also been supplied to Century to support hot foil stamping and flatbed diecutting for short run work.

Century Labels is a new company offering quality labels for both long runs and short run orders. Prahalad, the operations manager at Century Labels says, “We spent considerable time in researching the market for a press that will offer flexibility as well as value for money for our venture and finally settled on the Lombardi. Being a 100% ‘Made in Europe’ press, the machine offered us what we wanted in terms of functionality as well as durability. The technical and product support offered by the Vinsak team was key in our final decision as well.”

Malkhan Ram, assistant general manager at Vinsak adds, “We welcome Century Labels to the Vinsak family of customers. In Century, we see a strategic partner who will be able to offer value-added solutions to the market and utilize the equipment to its fullest potential.” Started by the Creed Engineers based in Gurgaon, Vinsak manufactures and supplies a variety of printing and packaging equipment, consumables and technology in India, Africa and the Middle East. The innovative company that is largely focussed on packaging, labels and security printing has in the past several years established itself as a manufacturer of
label finishing equipment with a factory near Mumbai.
