Imp software from Insoft Automation will be on display at drupa (Hall 07a Stand
E13). This software is for printers when it comes to planning and creating print
ready sheet/roll assemblies for printing.
The uniqueness of the level of automation in layout planning with Imp software lies in its ability to optimize for a variety of job and machine categories. Users are at equal ease when creating layouts for packaging cartons, labels, flyers, folded leaflets, books or magazines. Any kind of job can be automatically ganged with other types of product (diecut signage and labels with folders, posters, leaflets).
All the jobs can be optimized together on a conventional sheetfed or web-fed offset press, variable sleeve offset press, and an entire range of digital printers – A3, B2 size sheetfed, continuous feed digital web press, flatbed and Roll-2-Roll large format presses.
With every printer having a digital and offset press under one roof, the cost-based layout creation solves the complex task of choosing the machine to print a job economically. This is simplified with Imp software when ganging hundreds of jobs.
Stylkit is a parametric library of folding cartons based on inputs from European Carton Makers Association (ECMA) along with a 3D Visualizer. It has a range of drafting tools to edit the standard library. Moreover, it has a white board to create a custom design from scratch.
InForm, an end-to-end solution for high-quality, professional conversion of PDF content to reflowable EPUB or Kindle format, will also be showcased at drupa. Starting from picking a PDF file to exporting an error-free EPUB, everything is managed inside a single window. Little or no prior knowledge of PDF or HTML is required to use InForm. Presently, more than 50,000 books amounting to 15 million pages have been successfully processed using the InForm software.
Packaging South Asia is the cooperating media partner for drupa 2016 which is scheduled to be held from 31 May to 10 June at Dusseldorf, Germany.
