“Wen Chyuan is a Taiwan-based leading manufacturer and supplier of varnishing, laminating and finishing machinery,” says Muralidhar Nalli of Techno Graphic Services India. “Whereas, Golden Tec Machinery (Hall 11 Stand B63) manufactures roll to sheeters while Datien Industrial Company manufactures double arm automatic paper cutting machines with micro computer and European CE standards ranging from 25 inches to 118 inches as well as pile turning, paper jogging machines.”
The SBL Group (Hall 11 Stand A64), which manufactures automatic diecutters, folder-gluers and foil stamping machines previously joined forces with Heidelberg for world-wide selling of its products. After Heidelberg and SBL parted ways, Nalli saw the opportunity and became a partner to SBL last year. “A team of five engineers have already completed the training at SBL’s manufacturing unit in Taipei and is well equipped to provide installation service and after-sale support in India,” says Nalli.
“Our deal to represent Wen Chyuan in India was quite successful with customers placing repeat orders for Wen Chyuan machines. This has encouraged us to partner with more Taiwanese manufacturers,” says Nalli. “All along, we have also realized that quality and reliability of the Taiwanese machines are at par with the European manufacturers. We are trying to do the right thing at the right time in the best way.”
“We have already installed close to 40 Wen Chyuan machines in India which includes some at well know companies like Pragati Pack, Parksons Packaging, TCPL, Borkar packaging, Singhania Offset, Thomson Press, Yamir Packaging and Can Pac,” says Muralidhar Nalli. “We believe in going with the trend. The present trend what I can see of the Indian market is that people are looking for equipment which can provide high reliability, productivity, quality and prompt after-sales service as well as competitive price; however, the obsession for European and and other established brands are largely getting distributed and Indians trying out brands which are well received in other parts of the world but are yet to make a mark in India. This is a new market out there and we are moving to it by repositioning ourselves with new product offerings relevant to the customer needs.”
At drupa, Techno Graphics will be available at its partner stands. “All the machines by our partner companies will be of a great value to Indian print firms – high-end technology at competitive price. Most of these equipment will be available for live demonstrations at drupa,” says Nalli.
Packaging South Asia is the cooperating media partner for drupa 2016 which is scheduled to be held from 31 May to 10 June at Dusseldorf, Germany.
